POLY Gimpo

POLY Inspiration Inc. (POLY) is an English language institute that targets "repatriated students" returning to Korea from overseas and "English talented students" within Korea, aiming to enhance English Only Policy (EOP) in an ESL environment based on North American textbooks (CCSS) and curriculum, while pursuing a curriculum-centered approach to education.

Founded in 1999, POLY currently operates over 60 branches across Korea, serving over 2,000 native English teachers and 25,000 students, providing high-quality English education.
POLY's ESL and EFL education system aims to cultivate students into global leaders with bilingual competence through critical thinking, diverse communication, collaboration, and debate classes, encouraging students to think and reason independently.

POLY is now enhancing its curriculum based on North American Curriculum (NAC) and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), while building an AI-based smart learning system that integrates generative AI, voice recognition engines, big data, and other technologies. We aim to create new educational opportunities and aspire to grow into a global EduTech company beyond South Korea.

The POLY education system, optimized for the growth stages from age 5 to 9th grade, is based on North American education. It operates five different brands (POLY, MPOLY, Magnet, CANB, Mil) tailored to students' ages, academic levels, language abilities, and other factors.

POLY Gimpo Curriculum/Program

The POLY education system, optimized for the developmental stages from age 5 to 9th grade, based on North American education, fosters students into global leaders with bilingual competence through independent thinking, diverse communication, collaboration, and debate classes.

1. First of all, we systematically enhance students' language proficiency through three steps: ECP, ELE, and GRAD.

  • ECP (Early Childhood Program) 5-7 years old - Enhance student's English proficiency by fostering basic language acquisition, self-reading abilities, fluent and advanced expression, and overall English language usage skills.
  • ELE (Elementary Program) 8-10 years old - Integrated learning by subject area. It enhances students' reading skills, vocabulary, and critical thinking, aiding in the expansion of knowledge and fostering students into confident bilinguals.
  • GRAD (Graduate Program) 11-16 years old - We maximize advanced language expression abilities through focused lessons on Fiction and Nonfiction, Academic Vocabulary, and other topics.

2. Then, leveraging over 25 years of accumulated big data in POLY's reading education, we provide continuous and in-depth learning through a systematic process, from diagnosing reading skills to checking comprehension.

3. Finally, utilizing POLY's 25 years of educational expertise and AI technology, we realize fully personalized complete learning through a big data-based smart learning integrated system.
